"A source confirmed to Mark Feinsand of that Bartolo Colon plans to pitch in 2018.

Colon said "that's the goal" after his final start of the 2017 season. The 44-year-old right-hander posted an ugly 6.48 ERA, 1.59 WHIP, and 89/35 K/BB ratio in 143 total innings this summer between the Braves and Twins, but he'll probably get a shot somewhere if he's not worried about financial or roster guarantees."

In further news, the New Nork Mutts are rumored to be willing to go up to a four year package for Bartolo, but not five. After all, Bartolo has been working out...

I will kneel before God and stand-up for the United States.
