Bating average calc

Postby HardEights » Fri Dec 30, 2011 9:46 am

This is a newbie question but is batting average in the NFBC calculated as total hits/total at bats for players in your active lineup or is it the average of those players averages?

Thanks.

Add up all of your active "Hits" and then divide by all of your active "At Bats" = your team batting average

Say for one evening, my active lineup has a total of 10 hits in 30 at bats. my team batting average for the night is 10/30 = .300

Hope this helps. :)

Gekko,

I must admit I was slightly intimidated by your headstart on prepping for the 2012 season....and your commitment to working incredibly long hours to prepare and beat the rest of us

But if this is example on how you crunch numbers, I am much less concerned
